What happens if there are any iron rods amongst the material to crush?

The Simex rotor crushing system has been designed to not have problems with iron rods amongst material to crush. If the reinforcing rods have a small thickness, they are cut by the rotor system without any difficulties; if rods have higher thickness, they are folded, like a horseshoe, and drop out along with crushed material through waste grate.

Which is the crushing system used in Simex crusher buckets?

Simex crusher buckets are equipped with a rotor crushing system with cutting elements (blades and comb) fitted on it. Rotating both in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions, it exerts a considerable force on the material, positioning it between cutting elements and blades, crushing it. Once crushed, material is dropped through appropriate grate on the underside of the bucket

Which is ideal size of material to crush?

Ideal material size for use in the bucket depends on model: for smallest models it’s advisable input material size doesn’t exceed 200 mm, for bigger models 300 mm.

Which is output material size?

Simex standard crusher buckets produce spoil having 70 mm as maximum size; and by simply replacing blades it is possible to produce other sizes: 0-30 mm, 0-50 mm or 0-100 mm.

What benefits does the rotor crushing system give?

The rotor crushing system limits vibration levels that are harmful for the prime mover machine; futhermore this system can also crush wet material thanks to rotor movement.

Can I fit the crusher bucket onto a tele-handler?

The Simex “CB” series crusher buckets can even be fitted even on tele handlers.
