Bauma – the most anticipated trade fair event in terms of strategic importance, turnout, new product launches and media impact for the earthmoving sector – has always been an
opportunity for Simex to show to its partners and users its technical quality. The ability to innovate and do research, combining the new models in the range with new technological concepts, it’s the Simex way to outline the paths to be followed in the future.
In the world of
road maintenance and underground utilities, Simex has always stood out for the wide range of its products: the famous
PL self-leveling cold planers, in the version for skid steer loaders and PLB for excavator; the different solutions for set-section, mini and micro-trenches; paving and compaction attachments. In recent years, the company has continued to innovate, setting itself a very ambitious goal: offer a cutting-edge technology for the recovery of distressed road pavements. This challenge has found its practical concretization: ART, anagram of Asphalt Repair Technology. The technology for asphalt regeneration. Simex ART takes care of everything: cold milling, volumetric reduction and mixing the admixture with the milled material, reusing the 100% of the material present on site, in full compliance with the principles of innovation and environmental sustainability that the Munich fair itself is relaunching. Previewed at Asphaltica fair in 2021, the final configuration of ART will be one of the novelties present at the Simex stand of Bauma 2022.
In recent years, the company has also made efforts to offer useful
solutions for the materials recovery in a sustainable perspective. From crushing to selective separation, from cutting to controlled demolition, from quarrying to backfilling pipelines,
Simex has a range of buckets, drum cutters and cutter wheels that facilitate demolition and recycling operations of waste material. Simex aims to expand the concept of materials recovery which, once crushed, volumetrically reduced or screened, can be recycled immediately on-site or easily transported away. In this regard, there will be a thematic area dedicated to Simex buckets, on which the new models will be presented during the trade fair appointment. This is the case of the
VSE range of screening buckets: in addition to the exclusive patent for the instant variation of the output size of the screened material, another patent has been added, the new FIT screening tools. These tools, easily customizable and replaceable directly on-site, guarantee up to 75% less maintenance costs. At Simex stand, it will also be possible to see the
CBA asphalt granulator bucket, designed for the volumetric reduction of asphalt slabs to a certifiable grain size, thanks to the configurable rear grid. The section is completed by the ranges of CB and
CBE rotor crusher buckets, specific for the volumetric reduction of aggregates directly on site, highly performing even in the presence of rebar and deformable parts.
And finally, an important space will be dedicated to
drum cutters, in all their different configurations. Among the most versatile attachments in the range, drum cutters can cover a wide area of applications, starting from trenching in the road sector, passing through the vertical profiling of concrete or rock walls in the construction and infrastructural field, up to the heaviest uses for quarrying or tunneling. In this exhibition area there will be some important innovations, the result of the constant investments in research and development of the San Giovanni in Persiceto company.
