Available in
4 models, for excavators from 8 to 45 tons,
Simex VSE screening buckets are specifically designed for separating different-sized materials directly on-site. VSE product range features the
rapid adjustment of output size, via an instant control in the cabin: this exclusive patent allows the shafts to be instantly distanced and closened, with a maximum travel of 40 mm. It guarantees speed of execution, versatility - being able to work on different materials - and a considerable time saving.
Thanks to constant investments in research & development activities, Simex is now capable to introduce a significant update which contributes even more to making these buckets unique:
FIT, the new screening tool system. Its naming stands for “five independent tools” and has
3 important features.
1)Each element is composed of
5 independent parts, designed to easily interlock with each other with no weldings. They are easily replaceable without difficult operations and without the need of shafts unstrapping: this means
75% less maintenance costs since it is possible to replace even just one single disc or blade. No disassembly of the shafts is needed. Each element is easily replaceable with a simple procedure that can be performed in minutes directly on-site, simply with a hammer and a punch. The screening element is formed by 5 disks and 2 spacers and fixed to the shaft with clamps and two screws.
2)
The system allows multiple configurations depending on the materials to be screened. Simex provides to the users 3 different set-ups, but many others are possible thanks to screening elements that are 100% interchangeable.
Recycling configuration is indicated for screening mixed material such as dry clay, gravel, silt and peat. Profitably used for padding and bedding in pipelines and to separate demolition and construction waste in different sized materials to produce recycled aggregate.
Disgregation configuration grants high performance with soil, peat, clay and vegetal waste. Often used for topsoil selection in the horticulture industry and landscaping.
Mixed configuration is designed for humid soil, mixed with stones, gravel and clay. Particularly effective for volumetric reduction, light crushing (even with frozen and lumpy materials) and topsoil screening in the horticultural and agricultural field. Very effective to process bio waste or to select topsoil resulting from the reclamation of mixed and rocky soil.
3) The screening elements that make up the shafts are composed of discs and blades of different diameters which perfectly adhere to each other producing
a high swirl of the material to be screened: wet material is easily screened, and does not stick to the bucket elements as often happens with traditional systems.
Simex VSE screening buckets: great benefits now with more performance and less expense
The adjustable output size controlled directly from the cabin combined with the new FIT screening tools configuration system allows the operator to separate different sized materials with no downtime,
now with less maintenance costs, enhanced performances and even more configurations available. On the other hand, traditional buckets need long and complicated technical operations to change the output size or to adapt to different materials, for instance, by distancing the shafts or changing the screening tools.
With a simple control in the cab, thanks to the
instant variation of output size, the operator finally gets
3 different aggregates: a fine size of
0-15 mm, a medium size
between 15 and 55 mm, and coarse aggregates
greater than 55 mm. This is really important when the fragment size does matter.
In addition,
FIT radically changes the way that screening elements are composed, configured and replaced. Easy customization and configuration: blades and discs are 100% interchangeable, so the operator can choose among 3 different configurations (or can create a brand-new one) to better fit the application and the material to be screened. Up to 75% of cost saving for maintenance if compared with the previous system.
Easily convert your base machine into a mobile processing plant thanks to Simex VSE screening buckets.
