RW 400: high performance for mini- and microtrenching
Designed for skid steer loaders, the new RW 400 is engineered to operate effectively on asphalt, concrete and rock, ensuring precision and operational continuity in cutting and trenching applications with predefined sections.

The attachment is particularly suited for mini- and microtrenching operations related to fiber optic cable installation, as well as for small excavations and localized urban jobs.
One of the key features of the RW 400 is its hydraulically adjustable cutting depth from 200 to 400 mm, allowing operators to quickly adapt to different jobsite requirements and working conditions.
Operational efficiency is further enhanced by the side discharge plate, designed to direct excavated material outside the skid steer’s wheel or track path. This solution improves jobsite cleanliness and reduces interference during operation.

The RW 400 is available with both monolithic and segmented wheel configurations and is equipped with special high-productivity tools specifically developed for mini- and microtrenching applications.
RWE 20 / RW 200: maximum carrier versatility for fiber optic connections
Designed for micro- and mini-trenching applications dedicated to final fiber optic building connections, the new RWE 20 and RW 200 stand out for their high operational flexibility. The versatility of the range comes from its dual carrier compatibility: the RW 200 version is designed for skid steer loaders, while the RWE 20 is dedicated to mini excavators up to 5 tons. Two configurations developed to adapt to different jobsite requirements while maintaining the same cutting precision and performance.

Both models feature a self-leveling tilting system enabled by an articulated support rotating along the drum axis. This configuration ensures operational stability, improved attachment control and cutting precision even in the most delicate applications.
The RWE 20 / RW 200 models are ideal for narrow-section cuts and trenches on compact surfaces such as asphalt and concrete, with cutting widths ranging from 25 to 50 mm and depths from 100 to 200 mm.
Special high-productivity tools complete the setup, ensuring excellent performance in fiber optic installation and urban microtrenching operations.
New tools for 25 to 30 mm trench widths
Alongside the launch of the new wheel saws, Simex is also introducing a new special tool specifically developed for mini- and microtrenching applications with trench widths from 25 to 30 mm.
Designed to increase productivity and service life, the new tool features a special diamond-coated technology that improves wear resistance and maintains high performance even in demanding applications on asphalt and concrete.
This solution allows operators to work longer with greater continuity, reducing maintenance requirements while ensuring cleaner and more precise cuts.
Both new models can be equipped with the new tool: the RWE 20 is available in monolithic configuration, while the RW 400 can be configured with either monolithic or segmented wheel versions, offering greater flexibility according to jobsite requirements.
With these new models, Simex further confirms its commitment to developing increasingly specialized equipment for underground utilities, fiber optic installation and infrastructure applications, delivering solutions designed to improve efficiency, precision and productivity on the jobsite.
