Falf, a company based in Savigliano (in the province of Cuneo, Italy) specialized in pavement maintenance and the creation of utilities and district heating plants is using a PLB 200 planer for excavator mounted on a Cat 301.7D mini excavator with great success. The attachment, purchased through CGT Edilizia, Fossano branch, is
equipped with a special disk with a width of 30 mm and a depth of 70 mm.
After trying out and purchasing the attachment, Falf immediately put it to work on several work sites, where it quickly gave proof of its utility. The
Simex PLB 200 planer for excavator efficiently
marked out the trench perimeter in areas where the job called for installing manholes or different types of piping and fittings.
This special version of the PLB 200 convinced technicians and operators of Falf also due to its excavating power and maneuverability, features that clearly have an impact on productivity and therefore highly valued. It had such an immediate success on the field that the company is evaluating the purchase of a dozen of these attachments.
In the standard version, the PLB 200 is an attachment that has stood out on all markets for many years. Compared to the planers of the
PL series intended for skid steer loaders and for operating horizontally,
the PLB series planers perform milling and cuts and vertical and slanted surfaces.
