Simex has launched a new wheel saw specifically designed for the excavation of micro trenches for the laying of the optical fiber in the final link to buildings, where it's mandatory to operate with compact and low weight base machines.
The new attachment guarantees cuts and trenches of small sections on hard and compact surfaces such as asphalt and concrete, for a width of 25, 30, 40 and 50 mm (1-1.2-1.6-2.1 inch), at a depth of 100, 125 or 150 mm (4-5-6 inch).
The feature that makes this attachment truly innovative is its versatility: it is designed both for mounting on 1.5-3.5 ton (3300-7700 lbs) mini-excavators and for skid steer loaders with the addition of a mechanical side shift.
Clean trench: the special design of the outlets allows trench to be cleared efficiently at the programmed depth.
